1. How many Black Turban Snails are in every tenth feet?
2. To start at a random place, Candice threw the 1/4 meter square without looking at a specific place in the intertidal. Our group decided to record data on seven quadrants to make the research more specific. The results were the following:

Quadrant # 1.100 small Black Turban Snail
2 Big Black Turban Snail
Quadrant # 2. 16 small Black Turban Snail
10 Big Black Turban Snail
Quadrant # 3. 14 Small Black Turban Snail
0 Big Black Turban Snail
Quadrant # 4. 6 Small Black Turban Snail
Quadrant # 5. 10 Small Black Turban Snail
10 Big Black Turban Snail
Quadrant # 6. 3 Small Black Turban Snail
Quadrant # 7. 12 Small Black Turban Snail
13 Big Black Turban Snail

According to our data, the group concluded that there were more Black Turban Snails near the intertidal rather than farther away from it. Our first quadrant landed mostly on water, which explains why more Turban Snails were found in that quadrant. It is reasonable to think that more snails would be found in an environment with water rather than one without water. As our group headed east, for the other quadrants we landed more in rocky areas with less water, which explains why there were less Turban Snails compared to the first quadrant.
